This was always about smashing Palestine, taking the land, and scattering Palestinians to the wind. I don't think it was a false flag, but I do think Netanyahu et al seized on it as a marvellous excuse to colonize harder, and that they barely care, if at all, about the innocent Israelis killed or kidnapped. And they *delight* in killing Palestinians, all Palestinians. It's a horrific thing to witness.
