I am not very crypto savvy, while I do own cryto, I do not understand all the nuances associated within it. Is it true that bitcoin is one of the worst cryto for the planet and the environment because of its POW? “Bitcoin mining may be responsible for 65.4 megatonnes of CO2 per year … which is comparable to country-level emissions in Greece (56.6 megatonnes in 2019).” Will bitcoin ever be able to be limit its energy consumption? Bitcoin alone is estimated to consume 127 terawatt-hours (TWh) a year — more than many countries, including Norway.Jan 30, 2023.
