So in tonight's award for stupid astronomer of the day, yours truly set up his small telescope atop Mount John in ~70kph winds. I was determined to get a picture of Comet Pons Brooks setting over the Southern Alps. The wind battered me, and the telescope. But I managed to get a shot! #astronomy #cometponsbrooks #comet
