creator of #fediblock :verified::makemeneko: (npub1u83…r2s5) as I understand it, industrial farming is far from carbon neutral - the petroleum-based nitrogen fertilizers & farming techniques pollute ground water, kill soil, and cause it to expel vast amounts of CO2. It's poisoned ground water & rivers/lakes throughout NZ where I live. And here, we've got 80+% of our power generated by hydro... so EVs are pretty close to carbon neutral outside of manufacture & transport here in NZ.
