I don't quite understand why BRICS is compared to the G7. The level of integration within the G7 is phenomenal, and the degree of U.S. control over its participants is 120%. BRICS doesn't have integration even at the level of a bank, and there's no control of anyone over anyone else, not even by China. The G7 is a real power, while BRICS is just a book club.
