I’ve been reading through studies trying to figure out why I’m having so many new and awful joint issues lately (age? COVID exposure? Other reasons??) and discovered that progestogens tends to loosen collagen, which means that they’ve seen some negative side effects with progestogen based birth control in hypermobile patients.
