Oh yeah .. they would love the government (or the private cabal of oligarch banks) running their ecash mint. Its open-source and the clients the people using will also be .. so either we can describe the attack how the will backdoor it or we shut up.
Like with Bitcoin, the devs could be the worst opiniated people, the idea is that I dont have to trust them - show me the code/attack or shut up.
