I don’t understand why it’s offensive to consider that previous temperatures over vast swaths of time could explain this trend is a shallow and obtuse reflection to exclude the dataset that exists post-human. The data shows, inexorably that this swath (the most pertinent considering it encompasses human population effects and bi products of the ages ie: the Industrial Revolution, the technology boom, and more pointedly the multinational oil conglomerate) indicates that there is an argument to be made that while it’s possible we are merely inhabiting this planet during one of many larger climate cycles, Occam’s razor that probability is that the human race indeed does have an effect and that by no means implies that attempts to curtail or reduce our footprint is a campaign launched in vain.

I would urge you to reconsider your position and, if after considering and due diligence you can provide a digestible dialog to the contrary that you supplement your hypothesis with reference data.
