I agree with Wallflower's addendum. I'd also add that the Israeli's have systematically taken land that was designated by the international community for the Palestinians.
On top of the Israeli settlements in Gaza and the West Bank, the Israeli government has horribly oppressed the Palestinians.
Hamas is no better. They've been like a gangster shaking down Palestinians for decades to help fund attacks on Israel.
The whole thing sucks.
