After reading into the ISO:IEC 9899:2018 C Standard, I‘m hesitant to claim that C is a much simpler or smaller language than Common Lisp which is often ridiculed for its 1100+ Standard pages). Not mentioning the recently released C23 additions (which are actually good but will likely not be relevant before 2045).
