It's interesting to see how the two distributions which started out to replace #CentOS are now reacting differently to the recent changes by Red Hat.
#AlmaLinux is using the opportunity to free themselves from the shackles of "bug-for-bug compatibility" and are focusing their efforts on ABI compatibility: https://almalinux.org/blog/future-of-almalinux/
#RockyLinux on the other hand is looking for alternative ways to still access the RHEL sources and aims to maintain the 1:1 compatibility: https://rockylinux.org/news/keeping-open-source-open/
