Should we be worried by the growing use of Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) schemes?
#Debt charities have been concerned that these arrangements can be dangerous for the financially vulnerable... which is at least partly confirmed by the news that research indicates around a quarter of all BNPL clients are subjects to late repayment fees (meaning the instrument is more expensive than it appears), with younger users worse hit than older users...
Not necessarily a surprise but not a welcome development!
