I don’t understand people who convert to Eastern Orthodoxy over Roman Catholicism.
Eastern Orthodoxy makes no promises of salvation. It gives you a general praxis that can move you in the general direction of theosis, but even if you live the perfect life, you can still be deceived and fail after you die with the whole tollhouse idea.
If you’re going to buy into the trad propaganda, at least pick the tradition that actually claims it can get you to Heaven, as long as you don’t fall into mortal sin.
