Shrooming update: Had a long and pleasantly exhausting walk in the woods today and the forests are slowly building up on the number of mushroom species that can be found. Shame I only had my smartphone on me because some of them were simply stunning. And no, the first photo isn't of a chestnut burr, it's a spiny puffball mushroom (Lycoperdon echinatum).
We collected two wicker baskets full of mostly parasol mushrooms (Macrolepiota procera), quite many red-capped scaber stalks (Leccinum aurantiacum) all from a single spot in the woods and a few penny buns (Boletus edulis). We don't pick the coral mushrooms on the two photos below but they were nice specimens so i too a few shots of them, too.
