JIT splice in. My opinion is that this is going to be necessary to achieve near 100% payment reliability on the network. But thats a separate convo.
But do you see how that's essentially hot potato then? And if the fees were high enough to not attack, you're essentially bribing a node. I don't think that's the case today and I don't think many people are pushing funds back and forth to manage risk besides one off events.
My suspicion we haven't seen it yet is due to the technical ability to pull it off combined with the amount of capital to execute it successfully. You essentially have one chance at succeeding. I have the technical ability but not the liqudity. Maybe I should raise funds!
