A friendly neighborhood Noderunner here. We briefly talked on the aeroplain to Madeira, and I handed you your honorary Dutch Noderunners pin during the music festival on Madeira. I'm the guy with the dreadlocks.

I've been spouting your, albeit less eloquently as you, 'there is no they, only us' quote, for quite some time now, and I am glad to finally see someone else point this out, so thank you for that!
Now, to the point.
Have you heard of Noderunners Radio?
I have a vision to increase the robustness of the bitcoin base layer in case of future Carrington-like events. As in, should the sun burp out prolonged solar storms at us, EMP'ing out our infrastructure, I imagine a world where Noderunners become 'Guerilla Radio Stations,' transmitting pleb driven music via an open source lightning/fedi powered jukebox, while simultaneously, also silently appending the state of the Bitcoin network.
The Jukebox would give those listening to the station the power to add music to the queue. While the sats they pay for this service should be split to operators and Original Artists.
Furthermore, I foresee a time where projects such as OpenTimestamps.org would make it feasible for Original Artists to timestamp their music to the timechain before releasing it into the wild. Then, when someone samples their music, and remixes or reuses it into something fresh, a net crawling 'Shazam/Grooveshark' piece of 'music recognition software' can listen for these samples and instruct the Jukebox bot, that a percentage should be sent further down the root to the original artist.
I have a feeling you will grok what I mean. If not, please do ask questions on where I should elaborate. The long and short of it is. This could up-end the legacy copyright and music and radio industry A LOT!
