Some months ago I decided that, since I was hearing and sometimes using the term #SettlerColonialism, I should try to understand a definition. I kept hearing about a Patrick Wolfe paper so I read it. Besides killing and forced transfer of indigenous people, SC also seeks to erase indigenous culture.
