That is why I think it is a milestone in the history of music.
Music is a language. And we don't learn a language by studying grammar or symbols before we could ever listen or speak. But in academies, this is the case. You arrive and they show you symbols and scriptures that are disconected to the real "speaking" or creation of that language.
Is like taking a toddler and trying to teach him to read.
But this hand sign language through music has it all. At the same time:
You play (speak) you listen (to everyone else) you read (the director)
And it is so intuitive that the hand gestures go pretty well with the symbols written on a sheet music.
And the learning goes fast. It is completely revolutionary. And you have fun and don't get tired. And it sounds amazing. Even amateur musicians even non-musicians can create outstanding pieces of improvisation.
