Weezer is fascinating to me because they came out of the gate with legit 2 of the better #AltRock albums of the #90s and the Green Album which has some highlights, and then seemed to just decide they didn't want to make good music anymore and spent the next couple decades making just lowest common denominator trash that coasts by as "fun" w/out ever being interesting
Wonder what their career would have been had Pinkerton not taken years to be reassessed and scared them into the box.
