The IDF simping is funny, but it's mostly just mutual hatred of Muslims (particularly Pakistan). Pakistan sent fighter pilots to engage the IDF during the Six-Day War and tried to ship weapons to the Arab militias. Later on, Israel also sent India weapons during the Kargil War between India and Pakistan.
