I remember telling my boss about the halving in January 2020.
I worked at Intercontinental Exchange(ICE), the owner of the NYSE.
ICE had just started a paper bitcoin etf(before the spot ones).
I told him that with bitcoin production dropping from 1800 to 900 btc per day it might be a good time to buy btc.
Boss (an MIT grad) said, "but won't the reduction in supply already be priced in?"
