This strikes me as kind of a loser take.
I mean racism is a bit like military escalation. We'd all be better off with none of it, but once it gets going you're an idiot not to embrace.
A world where EVERYBODY was treated as an individual would be better for everyone, but if one race starts doing nepotism, then another, well you're a damn fool not to do it too...
Who wants to be the last person on earth trying to treat everyone like an individual, while everyone considers them either ethnic competition or a race traitor?
