“How did he even get into Canada?”
Well… you see… once upon a time, before computers, it was pretty hard to cross reference data.
It was insanely easy for a low ranking soldier to slip through immigration controls.
I mean… do you even understand how many Yaroslav Hunkas there probably were? Or how many people fled Europe for Canada between 1940 and 1960?
I don’t have a common name and there’s at least one other Canadian who shares it with me, first and last. No relation.
