Bitcoin mining is the most ruthlessly competitive business I’ve ever seen.
However, it’s positive impact on the world is unimaginably underrated.
It provides a monetary incentive to capture waste energy, upgrade grid infrastructure both in capacity and resilience, lower power costs for all users, scale renewable power to the most remote villiages on earth. It adds profitability to recycling, sequestration, and prevents harmful methane emissions.
It’s going to be amazing what it will do over the next 50 years. Highly likely it will be part of every energy companies infrastructure.
