Play Integrity API is a ridiculously anti-competitive API attacking alternate operating systems while providing zero actual security value. It needs to be stopped by regulators. It permits a device with no patches for 8 years but not GrapheneOS which is a much more secure OS using even more hardware-based security features. They COULD allow GrapheneOS via Android's hardware attestation, which we support and use ourselves for security via the pinning support, not control.
