I guess that's all well and good, but I see two problems with this. First, the original creator who posted it on Instagram or whatever is kinda getting disenfranchised, because their only way of monetizing that content is through Instagram. Of course it'd be great if they "saw the light" and came over to Nostr, but we can't expect that to happen in the near-term...
Second, eventually, since Instagram technically "owns" all of those memes and images that appear on its platform, it could in principle do mass-copyright takedowns against the various image-hosting platforms on Nostr, which are not (to my understanding) decentralized. So this might be a problem for the Nostr ecosystem long-term if we want social media with anything other than text...
