#PennedPossibilities 408 — Do you like the process of world-building?
I write fantasy, it's interesting, but takes my head away from the plot.
Characters are part of the worldbuilding, so they morph their way out of the writing, tapping me on the shoulder as they find their way in this new world I'm creating.
I had a lot of world building in HOW TO BREATHE UNDERWATER, less ground up building in the follow up HOW TO WEAR YOUR DRAGON but a lot more flesh to put on the bones of the world.
