I don't understand the Podcast Addict (npub14p7…2uvv) issue - he never explained what was going on. I think it's a bug in his app. Anyway, that doesn't touch the webserver. (I did also report a bug to Marco Arment (npub1fjr…v786) as well, but didn't get a reply).
As for the outage yesterday - yes, my RSS feed was unavailable for a time. I still don't really understand why the server falls over yet, but I've added more instrumentation. I don't believe it's nefarious.
Incidentally, the newsletter sending mechanism (and the database for that) is on separate infrastructure.
