On Sunday Kamala Harris announces a range of economic policies intended to deal with profiteering;
economists respond by belittling the ideas & suggesting she doesn't understand how markets work.
My guess, is what they are concerned about is she understands all too well how they work, but unlike the economists doesn't think they are self-correcting & rather need to be properly regulated to stop price gouging.
But stepping on the toes of economists is never popular with economists!
