i should point out that it was a gradient in both directions and it had a logarithmic shape. didn't crest <95F till half way, <97F 90% of the way, and the inverse on the way back.
I think suburbs and urban dwellers are the reason there's so many climate change believers. they live in the heat dome of their metro area and never pierce it and discover hey it's actually a completely different temp
