I’m not going to waste my time arguing with people about third parties in America anymore. Look up Duverger's law. In 1992, the billionaire Ross Perot ran the most successful independent campaign in U.S. history, garnering 19% of the popular vote. He didn’t receive a single electoral vote. Not one. From an election standpoint, he was a complete non factor. This is by design.
You can’t fix what ails us by adding more parties.
