Three bird flu outbreaks reported in Iowa in three days
The #Iowa Department of Agriculture reported three outbreaks of #birdflu in commercial poultry flocks in the last few days.
An egg-laying operation in Sioux Couty in northwest Iowa is the latest case of #avianinfluenza. A similar outbreak was reported in the same county on Dec. 6. The third bird flu occurrence was detected in a turkey flock in Palo Alto County in northwest Iowa, the state announced on Dec. 8.
