I have just used my #Librem5 (with #postmarketOS Phosh) as little desktop for a few hours, and it has been surprisingly smooth.
I am pretty sure at least part of the reason was that I have attached one of these ridiculous phone fans for gaming.
(I have got a random one from Amazon, don't ask for the model, it's not a good fit - attaching it I struggled with the kill switches and volume rocker.)
