Yours sincerely, please combine all the "settings" under either under the avatar icon and remove settings wheel alltogether.
Also find common icons for personal "send to my contact" and another icon for "I shout this to world" -messages.
There's actually need for some 4-5 buttons on Start screen UI. And now you (eg Iris) have some 8. And even worse - same bottom screen Button functiona are available also from avatar menu.
Are you not having any UX resources at your disposal, shouldn't you have?
