So here’s one way that AI has made my life better.
I was using a product called Descript to transcribe the audio from Zoom interviews. It worked well, though the interface had become fussy over time. It’s really designed for podcast editing, with some cool features, but it was overkill and $120 a year.
Found MacWhisper, which is an AI-based transcription app, one-time fee, from npub1cn3cj42yka3gw4veychulku6j7lm50retwesxnpqy4ud3a202ywst9jwgs (npub1cn3…jwgs). Very good audio-to-text quality, so I’m happy.
