Yeah I think the email makes sense as long as people are made aware they shouldn't be keeping more money in it than they'd be comfortable having in a real wallet.
12/24 words feels like it should be reserved for the main BTC account, sub-apps (custodial wallets, nostr sign ins) demanding users memorise and store another seed phrase feels like overkill.
There might even be an argument that it degrades overall BTC security by increasing the mental overhead required.
