look i know the joke is "let's see ol' Donny wriggle out of this one" but the walls are genuinely closing in on Trump. his campaign isn't raising enough money, he's gonna be defending himself in a criminal trial during a presidential election, lenders are now wary of him, and he's gutted the GOP machine. plus, his health is visibly deteriorating, ffs it's been **eight years** since the 2016 race (side note: oooof.).
