I feel the same! I’ve got a steam deck so I know how good Proton can be, but there’s JUST enough issues and performance loss on nvidia that it would bug me too often.
Actually last year my Windows install broke and I ran Manjaro for a couple months and it was just too much for me, and that’s ignoring that VRC was super buggy which is a nonstarter.
Besides the VR thing and the fact that I really need Windows or MacOS for my DJing/music production/photography programs, it’s SO close to being there for me.
Manjaro was so nice, fast, and good looking. I’m familiar with Linux so fucking with configs was no big issue for me
