I very nearly didn't buy something from a site because the "Add to Cart" button was an "aesthetic" shade of gray that's remarkably similar to the grayed-out look that conventionally indicates you cannot perform an activity.
The purchase button was the same.
I gave it a go anyway and it totally worked but folks really just nearly lost a sale.
