What are the objects in these images that are periodically sent by Mars rover Perseverance and were also sent yesterday?
You guessed it right, these are calibration targets, used to calibrate SuperCam, a suite of instruments that remotely analyze rocks and soils. The suite includes a telescopic camera, 2 lasers, 4 spectrometers + a microphone.
