Okay for people who are currently dealing with covid you might not know that there have been a number of papers in the past couple of years about how anti-histamines like loratadine actually compete with covid at receptor sites and it has some effect on how severe the infection is and how infectious you are to other people
like it's not a miracle cure but it's something and given that these are the low-side effects anti-histamine family there's not really a downside to trying
