Went to test drive the car I wasn’t planning on buying today, and even if I had been planning on buying it I wouldn’t.
They get a slight pass because one of the two sales guys was off sick, but. Even though I’d booked the drive in advance, they left me sitting waiting for fifteen minutes, then took another ten minutes to go and find / bring the car around, then half a dozen of them (if not sales, then IDK, mechanics?) had a debate in Urdu about which of them was going to — horrors — get in a car with a woman. And then the guy who lost the argument got lost, which actually was pretty hilarious and made him loosen up a bit.
Needless to say, I didn’t get the hearty handshake the sales guy gave a male customer who came in while I was sitting waiting.
(I did like the car, though. It is a bit underpowered, but other than that the only issues were that I kept hitting the wipers when I wanted the indicators and that the turning circle is so ridiculously small that I kept over-steering around corners.)
