I have just, many years after the fact, figured out which Skill Lucia, one of Alex's Academy classmates, had. They didn't like each other so just avoided one another, so Alex was never curious.
He just told me he only found out that she was hydrokinetic after she tried to drown a girl in her dorm that'd been bullying her. He also said he was very happy *not* to know for those first two years... (And no, he still doesn't like her.)
