Fun with a 1980s rope light acquired from the Dewsbury Disco Shop sale last week. I saw it had a few scribblings on there saying "4ch" - once I'd pulled all the leccy tape off, it looked suspiciously like the 4-channel cable which hooks all the disco lights together. A bit of experimentation, a Bulgin connector on the end, and I have a 4-channel rope light which will happily run off a retro controller (my spare Pulsar in this case)! Just need to cap off the ends for safety now.
