Well, this day just spiraled from there. Guess what lessons kamikat learned after finally crying it all out: if you're not going to medicate, you can't skip the yoga (or whatever you do to regulate), even if it's just to try something new, and try not to put off dealing with stuff until it just hangs over you.
(oh, that was the source of anxiety that hit the second I opened my eyes yesterday)
