An electric car should be quiet. After all, that’s one of the biggest assets it has to offer. I know, blind people, etc. But electric vehicles still make more than enough noise, even at low speeds. I can understand the necessity for a beep when going backwards, like trucks do, but not when going forward.
Also, the usual synthetic sound they currently have is really driving me nuts.
Our world is way too noisy anyway.
