My good friend’s wife got Covid recently with a “rebound” infection, and both cases were pretty bad. I asked him what does that mean? Did she take something for it?
He said she took paxlovid, got better for a while, and got Covid again. Meanwhile he got a single less severe case, from her, and took no paxlovid.
So what you’re telling me is that she took paxlovid which made her get it twice.
He replied: Exactly!
What are these prescribing doctors thinking?
