Digital natives are a myth. Each person has mix of proficiency + ignorance w/ICTs from their complex history involving sexism classism racism ageism access disparities and random factors of what info other people around them know to share.
Case in point: I just taught 30 college freshman who grew up in the age of smart devices how to use shift-click, ctrl/cmd click, and alt tab. I am now a god. "Why did nobody care to show us this before? Bless you!" they cried in worship.
