I think what I would want is a public apology from the moderators and leaders of the Rust community for creating an environment where this toxicity is enabled, an acknowledgement of the problem and a call for the community to do better, for the moderators to crack down on this stuff, for community members to call this behavior out when it happens, and for my arguments to be received in good faith.
