It's not the generation of people which is the problem. It is the generational mindset. The boomer brain.
Lots of folks of that generation aren't "boomers", and quite a few folks who aren't of that generation exhibit boomer brain.
The people of that generation who do not exhibit the boomer attitude are often referred to as bloomers, which I actually quite like.
